  A Vision Founded in Love…
In 1994, the Lord started to work in the heart of Sandy Karanja to help young girls who are in trouble. Since then, He united her with her husband Boniface, a native Kenyan, who has the same vision. Through the awesome power of God, they have been able to start Lighthouse Ministries International. This mission built a home for homeless girls in Kenya. Their hearts’ desire is to bring hope and restoration to the young, broken lives through the love of Jesus Christ. They believe that God is going to move the hearts of people to help this ministry so that otherwise forgotten girls in Kenya will be given a new chance at life. In 2006, they opened the doors to LMI’s first home and school, Light of Hope Children’s Home and Private School located outside of Naivasha, Kenya.
