Shine a Light of Hope to Kenya with Love The annual fundraising dinner and silent auction, will be held at Wayzata Country Club on March 14, 2008 at 6:00 PM. The evening speaker is Stephanie Kinnunen, CEO and Co-Founder of NEED Magazine based in Minneapolis, MN. NEED is the first independent magazine dedicated solely to global and domestic humanitarian issues.  | Charity Golf Classic The 2008 Light of Hope Children’s Home Charity Golf Classic will be held on September 8th at the Island View Golf Club in Waconia.
It will be a shotgun start at 1pm, and dinner will follow. Dinner only is $20.00.

Mount Kilimanjaro Climb Our departure date from Mpls. is on January15th, and our arrival back to Mpls will be on January 30th, 2009. Cost of the entire trip is approximately $4000.00/person. We will be using the Marangu Route and it will take a total of 6 days which will be from Jan. 24th through Jan. 29th.
